Take your Latin dance to the next level by integrating traditional and contemporary elements of Flamenco dance. In this workshop, you will explore and discover new ways of using your body, and adopting the delicate, yet precise arm and hand movements. Through percussive exercises, you will develop a means to unleash your inner groove, and learn the foundation behind this highly emotional cultural Spanish dance. As part of the workshop, participants will understand how these elements are not limited to flamenco, but will further help develop dancers in every genre with elements of technique, rhythm, and improvisation. Join visiting dancer Anastassiia Alexander on this one-time workshop.
